Where are you located?

Sweet Bake House is based in Silverdale, NSW 2752 - this is our main pickup location. 
We offer a second pickup location from Glenmore Park only on Friday afternoon, Saturday & Sunday during certain times. A$10 handling fee applies for Glenmore Park pickup due to us having to handle and travel the cake specifically to our Glenmore Park location.

Can I add more then one delivery addresses to my online order?

Accepted Answer

No you can not unfortunately due to the way the website is made. You will need to place multiple orders if you would like your order to be delivered to more than one place.

Where is pick up from?

The main pick up is from our cake studio in Silverdale, NSW 2752 Mon-Sat. 
A time will be confirmed and arranged with you the week of your order.

Pick up from our second Glenmore Park location is only available on Friday Saturday and Sunday only between certain times. A $10 handling fee applies for all pickups from Glenmore Park location.

How does the pick up process work?

SILVERDALE LOCATION (main location) 
Inform us with a time you'd like to pick up once you have placed the order or add it in the notes at checkout. 
If you don't inform us of a particular pick up time we will reach out to you to confirm closer to the date. 
Ring the door bell on arrival.

GLENMORE PARK (second location) 
Only available to pick up from this location; 
Saturdays - Morning typically between 7-8:30am 
Sundays - Mornings typically between 8:30am-10am
Inform us with a time you'd like to pick up once you have placed the order or add it in the notes at checkout. 
If you don't inform us of a particular pick up time we will reach out to you to confirm closer to the date. 
Ring the door bell on arrival.

Get complimentary delivery if your order is $300 or more and delivery address is within 30KM radius of Silverdale.

We deliver custom orders (orders which are quoted and provided an invoice via email) to any suburb in Sydney. A custom delivery fee is added to your quote and invoice if you go ahead with your order.

If you would like an online order delivered to a suburb that is not in the list of suburbs above please reach out to us via email hello@sweetbakehouse.com.au and we can provide you with a delivery quote.

If I selected delivery what time will my order be delivered?

If there is a particular time you would like you order delivered please let us know or if you aren't fuss we will deliver your order at a time that suits our delivery schedule. You will also be notified by email and text when your order will be delivered.

Can I pay cash on pick up or delivery?

We don't accept cash payments at the moment. All orders will need to be paid for at checkout to confirm your order.

How long do the sugar cookies last?

Are the cookies gluten free?

Accepted Answer

No they are not - cookies contain gluten. 
Unless you specifically request GF cookies. We don't advise that you consume the cookie if you are celiac as the cookie may contain traces of Gluten.

What ingredients do the cookies contain?

Wheat, flour, sugar, rice flour, wheat starch, maize starch, dairy; may contain - tree nuts, egg.

How do I keep the cookies fresh?

Keep them in a air tight container or in the heat sealed bags we package them in until they are ready to be eaten. DO NOT put them in the fridge.

How do I keep my order fresh?

Cakes, Brownies, Melting Moments & Cupcakes

The above items NEED to be refrigerated or kept in a very cool place as soon as you receive them if you aren't going to eat them straight away. Cakes for events can be left out for a few hours if required - do not leave in direct sun as the buttercream will melt. If you are picking up your order you will need to keep the aircon on cool if it is a warm day.
 
Fondant Cookies 
Leave in a cool place, they DO NOT need to be regrierated as the fondant will go gross.

Are the Gluten Free items recommended for those to consume who are celiac to Gluten?

Although all ingredients used in the Gluten Free sweets are all GF and we clean all utensils, bowls etc as we cook in a kitchen where Gluten may be used in other sweets we CANNOT guarantee that the sweet has not been cross contaminated and would not recommend someone celiac to gluten to eat the product just in case.

Free delivery on orders over $500

Accepted Answer

We now offer free delivery on orders over $500 placed online or custom orders, as long as the delivery location is within 30km of our cake studio in Silverdale.

Question 16

How should I transport my cake?

Accepted Answer

Your cake is safest for transport on the floor of the car. This usually means the passenger side footwell or the boot if it is flat. We don't typically recommend that a passenger holds a cake while a vehicle is moving. In warmer months, we recommend putting on your air conditioner in the car. Do not place cake boxes on the car seat. Do not push on the sides of your cake box - support from underneath the box to provide the greatest support.
